(Summary description)Safety ropes are commonly used protective equipment to prevent people from falling. The safety ropes are used in addition to two commonly used benchmarks: (1) It must have sufficient strength to withstand the impact of the human body when it falls; (2) It can prevent the human body from falling. Beyond a certain limit that can cause injury, you must also learn to set up a safety rope. We take a hand-held safety rope as an example to tell you how to set up a safety rope.

1. The hand-held horizontal safety rope should adopt a fiber core 6×37+1 steel wire rope with a plastic sheath. Its technical performance should meet the requirements of GBll02 "Round Strand Steel Wire Rope", and it has a product production license and a product certificate.

2. The safety rope manufacturer recommends that the two ends of the safety rope should be fixed on a firm and reliable frame, with no less than 2 wraps around the frame, and padding should be added when contacting the edges and corners of the frame.

3. The rope clamp (also called safety rope clamp) should be used for the fixed connection of the safety rope end. The rope clamp pressure plate should be at the end of the long end of the wire rope. The number of rope clamps should be no less than 3, and the distance between the rope clamps should not be less than the diameter of the wire rope. The safety chuck is installed about 500 mm away from the last chuck. The rope head should be released for a safe bend before clamping with the main rope.
